Just another guy

I am a freelance writer and speaker. I received my MA in philosophy from the Dominican School of Philosophy and Theology, and my BA in history from The Colorado College.

I was born and raised in the Seattle area, and have recently moved back to the Pacific Northwest. Having traveled extensively in the western U.S., and occasionally as far as Spain, Italy, China, and Japan, I have seen that every place has its own beauty, but none compares to the beauty of home.

Despite the gift of an excellent education, I have discovered the hard way that knowledge is no substitute for wisdom. So, my goal is to put what I’ve learned into practice. I hope this blog, as well as my other writings, will help others avoid the mistakes I’ve made, and grow more fully into who they most truly are.
